The Functional Fit Story
Paige attended Ecole Holt Couture learning garment construction, pattern drafting and textiles. Applying this unique knowledge of high fashion with her experiences horseback, she developed our Functional Fit that you know and love today!
Our Brand
Started in 2014, Pursue Victory was created with the knowledge Paige learned at Ecole Holt Couture about high fashion garment construction and pattern drafting, melded with her years of experience in the saddle.
Having grown up on the back of a horse from 4-H shows to high school and college rodeo, Paige knew as well as anyone the struggle to find a shirt that fit properly without gaping in the bust, pulling in the shoulders, or coming untucked.
When learning the high fashion trade of couture, Paige learned how to properly construct and fit a blouse. Much to her surprise, following these methods created a garment that not only fit her properly, but brought with it confidence.

This was the inspiration for Pursue Victory and with a stack of hand drafted shirt patterns and a sample shirt in tow, Paige found a great factory in Calgary to take this dream to the next step: production.
The first launch of Functional Fit shirts were available in six different colors and all sold directly to customers, giving Paige valuable feedback on the fit. From there, we made some minor adaptations to the pattern before continuing production with the shirt patterns that we still use today.
Pursue Victory accomplished what Paige set out to do:, deliver a Functional Fitting shirt to cowgirls and horsewoman. With two years of experience and smoothly running production, Paige got restless for more creativity.
Paige 1912 began long before the first line of shirts hit the runway in 2016.
As a young girl Paige loved the old West, reading books and collecting photos of early cowgirls like Fanny Sperry Steele and Prairie Rose Henderson. Their courage and bravery fascinated Paige, and their trick riding, bronc riding, and style inspired her. Her decade-plus professional trick riding career was a product of her admiration of those early 1900s cowgirls.
During the brief window between attending Ecole Holt Couture and starting Pursue Victory, Paige was fortunate enough to travel to London. On this trip, she went to many museums and fashion related displays. Most memorable was the hands- on ‘white glove’ tour of Coco Chanel's work.
She came home inspired, following and studying more than one world. Paige 1912 was born.

Pursue Victory and Paige 1912 grew uniquely as their own brands under the same roof. The business grew, too. The opening of a storefront in Stavely, AB, became our first micro factory, producing garments in-house. In addition to shirts, we introduced jackets to the lineup.
Pursue Victory and Paige 1912 continue to be manufactured with quality and integrity in Alberta and Montana. Our headquarters has relocated to Arizona along with our founder, Paige, and her husband, Matt.

Paige Callaway
Born and raised in Alberta, Canada, Paige spent much of her youth horseback, ranching with her Grandpa and growing up in 4-H and high school rodeo. With a strong focus on academic achievement, Paige took an intentional step back from school sports to pursue her love for rodeo and trick riding. She attended Odessa College and Tarleton State University on rodeo scholarships and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication with a minor in technical writing.
A few years after college she started her first clothing business, designing graphics and applying them to her clothing line. With a desire to further her skills in design, she attended Ecole Holt Couture where Paige learned about proper garment construction, textiles, and pattern drafting. This opened her eyes to the possibility of functional fitting clothing and led her to start her first brand, Pursue Victory in 2014. Delivering ethically made, high quality, functionally fitting shirts has been the pillar of her business which expanded with a sister line in 2016. Inspired by the Wild West and high fashion, Paige 1912 uses the same functional fit garment patterns, adding a western high fashion flair inspired by the old time cowgirls.
Paige currently lives in Arizona where she and her husband, Matt Robertson, train horses full time. She balances running her business, maintaining the guiding principles of quality and ethical manufacturing. With a handful of barrel horses and prospects, she enjoys training and hauling. Paige is never far from a good horse or a good Functional Fit shirt!

Our Production
The very first Pursue Victory shirts were manufactured in Calgary.
The pillars of this company are quality made and ethically manufactured garments.
Local manufacturing did not guarantee good quality, but it guaranteed the opportunity to be hands-on with the production process and, now, allows us to keep the quality up to our standards.
The economic impact of manufacturing locally, no matter the size of the business, is something we believe in. The women sewing our shirts are also living in our communities, spending the money they earn locally.
